A truly inspirational song. A great combination of lyrical content and delivery. Kid Rock's uniquely successful style/approach at blending musical genres is definately appreciated. "Only God Knows Why" elicits a refreshingly soulful feeling that is ever-increasingly lacking (to me) in today's musical world; Growing up/living in the greater Detroit Metro area of Southeastern Michigan may have something to do with that. Keep it up Kid... you Rock!!!

can I ever relate to this song. I love it so much. I love kid Rock and Rock. I will add my RIP. R.I.P. to Irene,David,Eric,Billy,David R, David B and Allen I could add more so many people I know have died. I just keep going though. It is songs like this that help me get through it. Although pills have helped sorry to say but, sometimes they do. I am no youngster so don't judge me or hate me for this . Life is fuken hard to go through. Ok yea there is God to pray to but, I don't need no preacher, I need a teacher to guide my way. I need a hand to hold and a a child to scold . I need a bigger bank account but, I am not going to complain, my life is just so very plain. The sky can turn so gray and sometimes I have just turned my back and walked away. yes a lot of bad things happen to good people and its hard to figure out why. Life can be very difficult at times and I am just hoping and praying that it will get better for me. Kid Rock is a great musician and great human being and his music gets me through! Ill always have so much respect for him no matter what and I dont care what anyone else says about him, hes the greatest!
